Change of Posting
After a roster period has been planned, the cover organised and the duties issued to the staff often change. The changes made in the revised planning are captured by ProMis to ensure that the right people are told at the right time. The changes are stored in an easily accessible table. Using the mail merge facility, within ProMis, memos can be prepared to be sent either by e-mail or surface mail to the people involved in the changes. Two people turning up for the same duty, or worse still no one turning up, will be a thing of the past when this facility is fully utilised.
