Entering Sickness

Consistency, as well as ease of entry, is achieved by guiding the User to select important information from lists that are pre-prepared to suit the requirements of your organisation.  Some compulsory fields are used to ensure that essential information is not overlooked (omitted?).  This comprehensive, tab controlled, means of data entry categorises the information into an easily retrievable format.
Once the entry is complete ProMis will automatically:-

• withdraw the person from their rostered duties,
• indicate where essential shifts are consequently left uncovered,
• update the current sick screen,
• update their individual sick record,
• update the record of their absences,
• update their Individual Duties record.

Certificates can be recorded whenever they are received and notes of visits input after they occur.  There are seven criteria, (to indicate excessive numbers of sick occurrences per year), that you may select ProMis to generate alerts.  Once the period of sickness ends the Report Fit screen is completed and ProMis will:-

• calculate the number of days absent,
• calculate the working days lost,
• and restore the person to their duties.
